Rowies Ezzat was born in 1995. He started playing Classical Guitar at the age of 11. He started his Studies in Conservatoire dé Musique dé Alexandria, first, under the supervision of Mr. Hossam El-Shafey, after that he has been studying with Mr.Karim Frege till now. he finished 8th Grade, in the year of 2015, in ABRSM( Royal Academy of Music), with High Merit Degree.
Rowies worked as a guitar instructor at many places like K.M.H . Nowadays; he is preparing his Diploma from Associated Board of Royal school of Music. He works as a guitar instructor in Ensan Art center , he is also working as a guitar teacher in BSA (British School in Alexandria) . Rowies Ezzat is responsible for the supervision of various students admited in Royal School of Music. Those students achieved success in all exams.
Born in 1992, and started studying Drums at the age of 15 then at the age of 17 started Drums classes with Amr Galal. Attended a drums workshop conducted by the internationally acclaimed Dutch jazz drummer Han Bennink, during the Cairo Jazz Festival in 2012. He has been performing since the age of 17, first with "Life of Praise" Team at the Evangelical Church then wil several other teams. He has also been performing as drummer and Cajon player with different musical groups including Les Compagnons, Zaman band, Caravan band and others, in addition to Maamoun El Miligy's group since 2003 performing a variety of musical styles ranging from Musicals and light classics to gypsy, jazz, rock and oriental music.
Classical and Electric Guitar
I hold LRSM diploma in classical guitar performance and play electric and acoustic guitars. I was a band member in Love and Peace and Massar Egbari rock bands.
BSA, Bibliotheca Alexandrina, AUC, Alexandria opera house and conservatoire de Musique d’Alexandrie are the main employers where I have worked as a classical guitar tutor.
Solfege, ear training, music theory, preparing students for concerts (ensembles and solo work) and music exams are part of my responsibilities as a peripatetic tutor.
In June 2015, I developed and staged the first Alexandria classical guitar festival at Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
Sherry Latif Lahzy
I am a graduate of both: The Academy of Arts class 2003 - violin department and faculty of Fine Arts, Graphics department.
I have worked at Bibliotheca Alexandrina since 2003 and started teaching violin in 2004. I currently teach in the Academy of Art using the curriculum of National Academy of Art 2004 (classical music) and the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, British curriculum. I have been teaching the Suzuki method since 2008.
One to One tuition: At KMH Centre, I was a Violin teacher for two years from 2010 -12. In 2011. I began working at Ensan Art and also The British School, Alexandria since 2013.
I have played the piano since I was 6 years old and I took lessons until I was 10. After this, I taught myself playing classical music until I was 16 years. I made a switch to modern music; particularly Jazz.
Currently, I perform as a band pianist with Portrait Avenue. In 2012, Portrait Avenue won the Red Bull Jam 2012 competition and we were awarded the opportunity to record an album in the Red Bull Studios in Madrid.
