Year 10 and 12 Coastal Fieldwork Trip, 25th April

The sunny weather came at the right time for us on our trip to the cornice. The pupils used an array of fieldwork skills such as finding out the beach profile using ranging poles and clinometers. They also completed a litter survey. We were pleasantly surprised to see that there wasn’t a great deal of litter on the streets since bins had been located along the footpaths. We rounded it off with an ice cream to cool us down. What better way to the end the school week!
