A delegation of staff and students from the BSA attended the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Battle of El Alamein on Saturday 20th October. The ceremony was hosted this year by the British Government and presided over by His Excellency the British Ambassador to Cairo.
Prior to the event each student at the BSA had created a poppy. All of these poppies were used to create a wreath which was laid during the ceremony by BSA students. Our students did an outstanding job of representing the school in front of the assembled dignitaries and the world media, including BBC Arabia who interviewed our students about their contribution to the ceremony.
